Welcome to St. Luke the Evangelist Orthodox Church! We are glad you are considering visiting us. **Dress Code:** Modest, respectful attire. Women: dresses/skirts below knee; men: pants. No shorts, mini-skirts, tank tops, low-cut/strapless. Head coverings optional for women (scarf); men should not wear hats in the nave. **Venerating Icons:** Parishioners kiss icons on entry; visitors not required. Women remove lipstick before venerating. **Candles:** Non-Orthodox may light candles; avoid during Epistle/Gospel readings, Little Entrance, and sermon. **Posture:** Traditional posture is standing; pews available, sit if needed; follow the congregation. **Holy Communion:** Reserved for prepared baptized canonical Orthodox. Non-Orthodox remain in place; invited to receive blessed bread (Antidoron) at end. **Fellowship:** Visitors invited to fellowship after Sunday Divine Liturgy (optional). **Children:** Parents responsible; room on right of Narthex for infants/small children; children encouraged in church.
