And so, as we have the opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who belong to the household of the faith.

The parish of St. Luke was formally established, named, and chartered in 2002 under the direction of His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos of Chicago of blessed memory; the first parish priest, Fr. Dean Panagos, was assigned the same year. Fr. Dean served the parish from 2002-2006.

Following an interim period, the parish welcomed Fr. Michael Monos as the new pastor of St. Luke in 2009. Fr. Michael continues to serve the parish today.

In 2012, the parish purchased 20 acres of land for future development and expansion. See video below.

The 10th anniversary of the parish was celebrated on March 9 - 10, 2013 with a banquet and a hierarchical Divine Liturgy, led by their then Archpastor, His Eminence Metropolitan Iakovos of blessed memory.

The operating budget and ministries of the parish are sustained through a financial stewardship program.
